The biting winds from the east continue. It is impossible to walk up the track to Easton Bavents without getting wet from the spray which is creating a large puddle in the car park.
Blogger is not allowing me to upload photos. You should be able to see them on my Flickr account which I try and update weekly. https://www.flickr.com/photos/hadgraft/
In some bushes at Easton Bavents, there was a treasure trove of birds this morning, tree sparrows, siskin, reed buntings, chaffinch and yellowhammer. This is the first time we have spotted it here and it is now added to the bird project list. Click here to access . Unfortunately I did not have the long lens as the light was very poor but you can see the ‘yellow blob’
Almost an inch of rain fell in the past couple of days. The marsh harrier is still hunting and a jay flew past this morning. The linnets are looking very colourful this time of the year. Click here for more photos.
