Good light this morning. Barnacle geese flying overhead, a sparrowhawk nearby and a stonechat.

Is this a new species, a Manx pheasant? A mouthful

Several whinchats around this morning sheltering from the cold wind.  Quite a few house martins moving south and a wheatear on the beach.

Three whinchats and a stonechat by the sheep paddock.  Rather a long way off and a dull morning so no good shots.

This morning was misty and definitely autumnal.

Buss Creek Great Hill is getting higher. Lots of swallows flying south along the coast.  Chiffchaff and willow warblers feeding in nearby bushes.

Sand cliffs in the early morning sun. Old timbers Reinforcements arrive The lagoon is very dry this year

Autumn has arrived - the autumn crocuses are flourishing this year. Several wheatears near the sheep paddock yesterday afternoon.

Good to see a purple sandpiper this morning north of the promenade And a juvenile stonechat I am always amused by the concept of Dingle Great Hill and Dingle Little Hill just south of Walberswick.  Digging out the model yacht pond has created material that is being put near to Buss Creek, I am thinking of having a naming ceremony, Buss Creek Little Hill as it will be about the same height as Dingle Little Hill above sea level, 2m.

A grey morning.  The Galatea, a buoy laying vessel, at anchor just off the coast.

Moving some pots near the pond revealed a young newt, good to see they are still present.

Oh dear, the tide has come in. Abandoned. Still around. A strange visitor to the car park A speckled wood.

Another wheatear making its way south. New growth on a sea poppy Reed Warbler in the early morning sun And a robin singing

The model yacht pond is being dug out. There is a definite hint of autumn in the air with the bracken turning colour.  And dew on the leaves of a sea poppy
