Early morning New Year’s Eve surfers, better them than me.

The beach towards Easton Bavents seems busier today than in the summer. The corn stubble has still not been ploughed. Patricia, a buoy laying vessel, off the coast. The reed heads bright in the afternoon sun.

Lots of heavy rain in the past 24 hours.  New cliff fall over the holiday period and a lone surfer.

Early morning, Christmas Eve, walkers enjoying the beach. Plenty of teal piping on the lagoon.

A dreich afternoon and I only took out my small camera.  Purple sandpiper on the sea defences. And some AF pictures A little colour from the gorse. And Xmas comes to North Road.

Three days ago we had some pretty icy weather but today is a lot milder. Not many birds to report but this greater black backed gull looked good in the sun.
