It was a very grey morning and so I only took out a compact camera.  The North Road pheasant has regrown his tail feathers. Turnstones, still in summer plumage, on the beach A juvenile greater black backed gull surveying the beach

I bought a bench recently in honour of my father, mother and brother.  It is next to the paddle boat pond, it is good to see it being used.

I meant to post this a few days ago.  It is a hover fly that closely resembles a wasp on the eryngium.

Seven turnstones on the sea wall yesterday.  It is surprising how camouflaged they are agains the seaweed in their summer plumage.

Reed and sedge warblers still feeding and whitethroat up at Easton Bavents. From the shape of the arch I would say these are Norman rabbits Looks like stag’s horns
