Marsh Harrier overhead and lots of meadow pipits at the sheep paddocks.  I thought some piling was going on at Easton Bavents but it was the rams clashing heads.  Do sheep have a rutting season?

Starling numbers are building and small murmurations developing.  This morning starlings were joined by a charm of goldfinches.
